NASCAR 26 Career Mode: How Reputation Points Move You Up
The official NASCAR 26 Career Mode walkthrough series is back with its fourth installment, and this one’s all about the climb. The latest developer blog breaks down the Reputation Points system, which is your ticket from ARCA all the way to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Here’s how it works. Reputation Points (RP) are the currency of your career progression. You earn them by doing the things good race car drivers do:
- Running fast, clean laps
- Meeting sponsor goals
- Leading laps
- Winning races and championships
The numbers that matter: hit 10,000 RP and you reach Reputation Level 2. To have a real shot at moving up to the Truck Series, you’ll need 25,000 RP total. That’s the benchmark the game is looking for.
There are shortcuts, too. PR Manager opportunities and story features from the Dale Jr. Download and Door Bumper Clear podcasts can grant RP directly, plus an RP multiplier that speeds up everything else. Keep an eye on those media moments, because they matter more than you’d think.
According to the developers, the next walkthrough entry will cover the first offseason and the actual move up to the Truck Series. So if you’re grinding RP right now, you’re right on schedule.
This continues the walkthrough series we’ve been covering, following Parts and Repairs, Sponsors, and Peak Performance and Podcasts. If you’re new to Career Mode, start from the beginning and work your way through.
