Bristol Motor Speedway NASCAR 25: Track Overview

Bristol Motor Speedway is the coliseum of NASCAR 25. Half a mile of steep concrete, 36-degree banking, and 40 cars that have absolutely nowhere to go. Every inch of the racing surface is used. Every pass involves contact. Every lap is an argument, and the race ends when someone wins the argument loudly enough for everyone else to hear.

At 0.533 miles, Bristol is one of the shortest tracks in the game and the most intense. Where Daytona gives you time to think and Talladega gives you space to maneuver, Bristol gives you neither. The lap is over in about 15 seconds. By the time you figure out what just happened in turn 2, you are already in turn 3. Reaction time is everything here, and smooth driving is not optional.

The banking at Bristol, up to 36 degrees in the corners, generates enormous grip and allows for very high cornering speeds relative to the short track size. What it also does is stack the cars on top of each other in the high groove, which is where most of the passing happens. The bottom groove runs shorter and is faster in clean air, but clean air at Bristol is a rare commodity. Expect to get bumped, and expect to bump back.

Bristol in NASCAR 25 captures the feel of the real track better than almost anywhere else in the game. The tightness, the contact, the way every corner is a negotiation, it is all here. Watch it in PS5 UHD and you will immediately understand why Bristol has the most passionate fans in NASCAR.

The night race at Bristol is a bucket-list event in any NASCAR career mode run. The lights, the concrete, the way the crowd noise builds as the laps count down, it delivers every time. Getting there and actually winning it is one of the best feelings the game has to offer.
